Bring Back Ben!!!

BBB is a group dedicated to bringing back Ben Reilly. No, we don't want him to replace Spider-Man, and many of us hated the Clone Saga too (or at least the fact that it dragged on so long), so we're not trying the bring the Clone Saga itself back. No, we just want Ben.

We have supporters in Ireland, Germany, and Australia (besides the good ol' U S of A), and we've been plugged on the Amazing Spider-Cast. Plus, we're looking into getting an ad on Marvel.com. We're also producing our very own custom comic. For more details, click here.

Save Spider-Girl!!!

I'd like to tell you about a little book called Spider-Girl. It started out as What If #105, which presented an alternate reality in which Spider-Man's daughter had survived and was manifesting similar powers. It was so popular that it spawned a multitude of titles, such as Avengers-Next, J2, Wild Thing, Buzz, Darkdevil, A-Next, Last Hero Standing, Last Planet Standing, Fantstic Five, and-- more importantly-- Spider-Girl. (Click here to learn more; it explains it better than I could). Spider-Girl was later relaunched as the Amazing Spider-Girl.

The Amazing Spider-Girl is one of the best titles being published (in my opinion, the very best). However, for reasons having nothing to do with the quality of the book, it is constantly in risk of cancellation (and has been since Day One). You might still be able to pick up Amazing Spider-Girl #1 at your local comic shop, so check to see if they have it. If not, get the last couple of issues, or even the latest issue. I guarantee you will enjoy it. It's an all-ages title, so give it to a kid (or an adult) you know will enjoy it. It also makes a great way to get kids into reading.

Click here to download a poster based on Amazing Spider-Girl #10 (Carnage will make an appearance in #9 and #10). Print it out, and ask your local comic shop owner if they can hang it up somewhere (after all, you're only trying to increase sales on their product). (NOTE: The picture will automatically re-size. When it does, left-click it. A square with arrows pointing outwards will appear on the bottom right-hand corner. Click it, and it will return to its larger size. Then just click print).
